Excel is usually the first tool we go to when we need to do basic analytics of any kind. It's a versatile tool that can be used to extract and manipulate data, analyze data, and share the story by visualizing data.
Excel includes the Excel Data Analysis Toolpak that includes various data analysis tools. The Toolpak can be used to complete the following analyses.
Correlation: To understand if variables are related to one another.
Descriptive statistics: To understand basic stats (mean, median, standard deviation, min, max)
Histogram: To understand the distribution of data.
Regression: To understand the relationships between specific input and output variables.
t-tests: To understand if there are differences, on average, between two groups.
